Make plans now! Mark your calendar! Tell your friends! Southern California Touring Tears is celebrating their 10th Anniversay Gathering. All teardrop owners are invited.
The location for the 10th S.C.T.T. Gathering will again be Sweetwater Summit County Park. See map below for Park location. The Park can easily accommodate 200 teardrops, but you will want to make sure your reservations are in before the cutoff date. S.C.T.T. asks that attendees comply with the following: * Return registration form immediately. Camping fee: $18.00 per night prior to April 1, 2006. Registration received after April 1, 2006 will be $23.00 per night. We apologize for the fee increase, but the Park has increased their rates. * Camping in teardrops only - teardrops have priority and there is not room for large RVs and teardrops in the camping area. * With an anticipated 200 teardrops, each campsite will have three to five teardrops per site. Please park your teardrop accordingly. Some tow vehicles will need to be parked on the street in front of sites. * If you plan to arrive at Sweetwater before the April 14th, PLEASE make a note of your arrival date on the registration form and include the fee for the extra days. S.C.T.T. will make your reservations for extra days. This will help us know which sites are available and, if possible, help us reserve the site you want. If you make your own site reservations through the park and we are not aware of the site you reserved, when a motorhome leaves the park, the site is open of any teardropper who arrives early. Nobody likes to pack-up and move once they have set-up. * Tow vehicles must be restricted to 3/4 ton trucks or smaller. * If you have a large RV and wish to camp outside the teardrop camping area, call Brad, 760-765-1900 or David, 760-369-3082 for details. * Camp sites WILL NOT be assigned. First come, first serve. * Rain or shine. It never hurts to be prepared - to protect from all the sunshine! * Each site has water and electricity. Bring your own power adapters, extension cords, etc. * Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Please cleanup after your dog immediately. Although Sweetwater Park is an equestrian park, due to the large number of teardrops and in consideration to fellow Teardroppers, please, no horses. Freeway 805 South to Bonita Rd (5.5 miles south of Hwy. 94) Travel East to San Miguel Rd. Turn left on Summit Meadows Rd. into Park. 4.5 miles from Hwy. 805 to Park. Do not take Sweetwater Road. There is major road construction in the area around Sweetwater. We have heard that Sweetwater Rd. off Hwy 94 is closed/gone!
